Will I need to bring any bedding or towels?

All linens are provided to include towels and quilts for those chilly nights.

Is there a place where I can do Laundry?

The cabin has a washer and dryer for your convenience.

What are my food options?

Restaurants are abundant with local grocery stores and a nice new Ingel's Grocery in Clayton complete with a Starbucks. We have a charcoal grill for your use with a table out on the deck to enjoy outdoor dining. If a personal chef is your desire, we have chef options as well. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will find at home. Herbs and seasonings are located above the stove. So dine in or go out as the local restaurants will amaze you, there is something for every palette.

What are the hiking or trail riding options in the area?

The Appalachian Trail passes just west of Clayton and we have a trail cut behind the cabin to the Stonewall National Forest mountain bike (10) mile loop for bike or horse trail rides. Willis Knob also offers excellent trail rides and there are many local hiking trails for your pleasure.

Sports:  Water Sports, Fishing or Golf?

The Chatooga River is only 15 minutes away for whitewater or fishing.  Both Lake Burton or Lake Rabun are just 15 minutes away for boating or water sports.  Pontoon boat rentals are also available on Lake Burton at La Prades.  Trout Fishing is at it's best in Rabun County from Panther Creek to the North Fork of the Chatooga to the Talloulla River and other amazing trout spots around the cabin.

There are many local golf courses from public courses to very nice private clubs that accept guests.  

Will I be able to watch the Georgia Bulldog Games?

Watch your local sports team on Direct TV at the cabin or "The Universal Joint" offers multiple TV's for your favorite sports team.
